The Subject
This work is inspired by my zodiac sign, Aquarius. Aquarius is an air sign and the eleventh astrological sign in the Zodiac. The symbol for Aquarius is a person pouring water from a vessel, and they are called the water-carrier or water-bearer.

I drew this work in a homemade sketchbook, starting with watercolour and finishing off the work with pen and pencil. I included a few symbols that relate to astronomy including a globe, a telescope, and a compass. In the background, the constellation of Aquarius can be seen.
